Dear Customer,

I am writing to inform you about lots of exciting changes that are underway at Burton Security Ltd. You probably know us better as Burton Safes Ltd or Safe & Vault Company but we have now moved to a single trading name of Burton Security Ltd. This name change reflects how our business is evolving and growing into a wider specialist of Physical Security Solutions. Safes and ATM security is still at the core of what our business does.

We now design, manufacture, distribute, install and service a much wider range of security solutions. From mechanical key safes to biometric access control, from domestic security doors to ballistic and blast doors for critical infrastructure, from window film to bar sets and grilles, from domestic panic rooms to bank vaults. We felt like it was time for our name to better reflect the range and breadth of products and services that we actually supply.

You will see our websites and marketing begin to evolve over the next 12 months. But don’t worry because those brand names like Burton Safes, ATM Safe, Keyguard and Safe & Vault that you have come to know and love over the last 30 plus years. They will continue to exist under the Burton Security Ltd umbrella.

Our goal with the new marketing is to better support you to sell our products. The first new tool to come online will be a safe configurator for our Luxury and Design Safes, due to launch in late November 2022. Throughout 2023, you will see further materials come online, including flyers, brochures and technical documents. All related to safes, ATM security, security doors, security rooms and window security. All of this will culminate in a new website in the second half of 2023.

Our biggest investment of the coming year will be in our staff and our facilities. We are proud to have joined the Real Living Wage Foundation. We are starting a new programme of continuous improvement and we have recruited to bring new skillsets into the business. We have recently moved our administrative staff to a single office, with the goal of improving communication and efficiency. Then later this winter we are moving the rest of our operations into a single, improved location.

We have already invested in upgraded IT infrastructure. While in December we will open a new workshop with additional tooling and machinery. Here Adam Greenaway and Shaun Walker will head up a new Design and Innovation team. Incorporating engineering, CAD design, R&D and marketing. This team will focus on delivering bespoke solutions with a fast turnaround. As well as bringing more regular manufacturing in house and designing products of the future.
